Cancer seminar

The National Black Leadership Initiative on Cancer III: Community Networks Program at Morehouse School of Medicine, a partner organization in the Georgia Ethnic Health Network, will hold a seminar called Clearing the Air from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 1223 Laney-Walker Blvd. in Augusta. The seminar will discuss topics such as tobacco control, lung cancer and secondhand smoke for blacks. For information, call (800) 950-2045.

Greyhound adoptions

Alzheimer's fund-raiser

Israel Experience Day
