The center, which is at 460 N. Belair Road in Evans, will present a colloquium called Living With Epilepsy: Education for a Better Tomorrow at 5 p.m. Admission is free.

"We encourage parents, teachers or any other professionals who deal with children who might have epilepsy to come," Yasmeen Jilani, the clinical office assistant, said about the program, which has been held before. "We invite anyone who's curious to come."

Guest speakers will be Margo Henderson, a nurse practitioner at the Medical College of Georgia Hospital, who will discuss the general education of epilepsy; and Dr. Marie E. Gangarosa-Emerson, a neuropsychologist, who will talk about the cognitive effects of epilepsy.

For more information, call the center at 650-1075.
