SRP employee wins Businessperson of the Year award

Yvonne Meeks (center), SRP Federal Credit Union's business development manager, was a state finalist at the 2005 Georgia FBLA Conference after receiving the FBLA Businessperson of the Year Region 4 award. The Greenbrier High School FBLA, who nominated Meeks for the award, will represent Georgia at the national competition in June. Meeks, along with her business development duties, is also instrumental in presenting the National Endowment for Financial Education (NEFE) program to area schools. NEFE is an independent, nonprofit foundation that helps Americans improve their quality of life through sound financial decision-making.
