Chorale concert

The Augusta Chorale will present its spring concert at 4 p.m. today at the Gilbert Lambuth Memorial Chapel of Paine College, 1200 Druid Park Ave. Admission costs $5 for students and $15 for adults. Tickets may be purchased at the door. Call Russell Joel Brown at 394-4744 for more information.

Gospel sing

A bluegrass country gospel sing will be held at 3 p.m. today at the chapel of Bellevue Memorial Gardens on Wrightsboro Road in Grovetown, featuring the Journeymen from Hartwell, Ga. The Byrd Family will conduct the program, sponsored by Bible Fellowship Church, and refreshments will be served. For information, call 651-1971.

Adult social

The Christian Social Organization for Single Adults will hold weekly evening dances, free of alcohol and smoking, at Westside High School on Patriot's Way. On Saturday, the Recap and Sassy Brass Band will perform. For information, call 309-9763.

Old Union Baptist Church, 6095 Old Union Road in Harlem, is now holding an additional Sunday service with worship at 8:30 and 11 a.m. The church also offers several Sunday school classes at 9:45 a.m. For more information, call Keith Boggs at 556-9055.
