The following accounts were taken from reports filed with the Columbia County Sheriff's Office.

Man's motorcycle moved

A Martinez man's motorcycle was moved from his porch and to a neighbor's home April 20, the owner told police.

The owner of the motorcycle, who lives in the 300 block of Candlestick Way, said that when he returned home at about 3 p.m., his yellow 2000 Triumph Sprint RS had been taken off his porch and placed behind a neighbor's home, according to the sheriff's office incident report.

The motorcycle, which was not damaged or misplaced when he left at 6 a.m., had scratches on the underside from being moved, the report states.

Car reported stolen from school

A Martinez teenager told police someone stole his locked car Thursday from the student parking lot of Lakeside High School, at 533 Blue Ridge Drive in Evans.

The teen said he left his maroon 1993 Pontiac Grand Prix in the lot and secured it at 7 a.m. But when he returned at nearly 3 p.m., the car was gone, according to a sheriff's office incident report. The teen said he checked with school officials to confirm the car was not towed because of a parking violation.

The teen told police the vehicle was paid in full and he had no idea who might have taken it. Police found no broken glass in the space where the car was stolen from and the school's video surveillance of the parking lot revealed no suspects, the report stated.
