What would you say to someone who's thinking about giving your church a try?
"If they are looking for a place where they can get to know God, find rest, fellowship and some accountability with one another," he said. "We try to make an atmosphere where people can grow and learn and still make mistakes. We're not afraid of people making mistakes. We all know we're going to make mistakes. So, if they are looking for a place like that then they'll feel right at home."
What do you believe is the biggest issue facing the faithful today?
"Finding time to be quiet and be with God," he said. "Life is so loud and fast. Single moms are trying to make ends meet, and even families who are intact are trying to burn the candle at both ends with all the sports, schools, work and all that stuff. We're just trying to make a place where people can find a moment of relaxation and meaning in their life."
