Tax day snacks

Church of the Holy Comforter will give away coffee and doughnuts to late tax filers from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday in the parking lot of Franklin Printing across the street from the Martinez Post Office. For information, call 210-1133.

EHS yard sale

The Evans High School Career/Technology Education Faculty and Advisory Board will hold a yard sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in front of the school. Spaces are available for $10 and $15. For information, call Beverly Bibee at 863-1198 ext. 505.

College fair

Greenbrier and Evans High schools will hold a spring college fair Thursday at Greenbrier High. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Representatives from more than 50 colleges and technical colleges will be available to meet with students. Admission is free. Game night

A game night with desserts will be held at 7 p.m. Monday1 at Harlem United Methodist Church. The cost is $5 per person. All proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. For information, call Julia Prather at 556-6707.

Chamber breakfast

The Columbia County Chamber of Commerce bi-monthly "Not Just Coffee" breakfast meeting will be at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday at The Meeting Center in the Center for Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, 671 N. Belair Road.

Post dinner

American Legion Post 192 Auxiliary in Evans will hold a potluck supper at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday until the food runs out. Plates cost $5, including dessert, and are available for dine-in or carry-out. A silent auction will be held from 2-7 p.m.

GHS musical

Greenbrier High School Pack Players will present the musical "1940 Radio Hour," featuring classic tunes from the '40s era with a live jazz band at 7 p.m. Thursday Friday and Saturday at the Greenbrier School Auditorium. Tickets cost $5. For information, call 650-6040 ext. 335.
