Artist reception

A media reception for Ken Woo, a native Augustan and internationally known photographer, will be held from 6-8 p.m. today at Sacred Heart Cultural Center Art Hall at the Ellis Street entrance. The photography exhibit will be on display through April 30. Call Judy Evans or Rachel Gregory at 826-4700.

Movie showing

The Laurel and Hardy Museum in Harlem will be showing the movie Fat Albert, rated PG, at 2 p.m. Friday. A $2 donation is required, and concessions will be available. Call Kathy Ham at 556-0401.

Historical tours

During Masters Week, the Augusta Metro Convention and Visitors Bureau is offering three guided historical tours of Augusta. The tour also includes admittance into Augusta's Museum of History. Tours depart from the Augusta Visitor Information Center, located inside the Augusta Museum at 560 Reynolds St. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children. The tours are offered from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today and Thursday, 1:30-3:30 p.m. Saturday. For information, call 724-4067.

Free produce

Gospel Water Branch Baptist Church, 703 Furys Ferry Road in Evans, will be giving away produce to needy families at 9:30 a.m. Saturday. Call Earl Richardson at 796-4975 during the day, and 210-1984 evenings.
