Free produce

Gospel Water Branch Baptist Church, 703 Furys Ferry Road in Evans, will be giving away free produce to needy families at 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

Fishing rodeo

The annual parent-child bank fishing rodeo will be held from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Mistletoe State Park in Appling. Parents and children can compete for prizes from the banks of Thurmond Lake. The cost is $5 and $2 for parking. For information, call 541-0321.

U.S. rally

Mt. Zion A.M.E. Zion Church, 1237 Summer St. in Augusta, will hold a U.S. rally at 3 p.m. April 10. For information, call the Rev. Alton R. Pegues at 722-8586.

Game night

A game night with desserts will be at 7 p.m. April 11 at Harlem United Methodist Church. The event costs $5 per person. All proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.Call Julia Prather at 556-6707.
