Driver charged in failure to yield

A 2001 Isuzu Rodeo sits on a curb on Columbia Road after the vehicle's driver, David Robert Brown, struck the left side of Barbara E. Figueroa's 2002 GMC Envoy sport utility vehicle. Figueroa was traveling west in the inside lane on Columbia Road when Brown's vehicle, which was traveling south on Holiday Drive, tried to make a left turn onto Columbia Road. Brown said he didn't see her SUV because another vehicle was making a right turn from Columbia Road onto Holiday Drive. Brown was found at fault on failure to yield.
