Golf tournament
Fatz Caf is sponsoring the second annual Spring Golf Classic on May 4 at the Jones Creek Golf Club, benefiting the Jenny Clark Memorial Scholarship Fund. A noon shotgun start is planned. The tournament is limited to the first 34 teams. The tournament team fee of $400 includes prizes for first-, second- and third-place teams, as well as prizes for on-course competitions and various door prizes. Basketball tourney
Saturday is the deadline to register for a 3-on-3 basketball tournament to be held at the Harlem High gym beginning at 1 p.m. April 16. The cost per player is $25. The cost per spectator is $3. Softball tryouts

Umpires needed
The Columbia County Recreation Department is in need of baseball officials. Applicants must be at least 16 years old and be able to work Monday through Friday evenings and occasionally Saturday mornings. Basketball camp
Greenbrier High School will hold its second annual youth basketball camp from May 31-June 3. The camp is open to boys and girls from fourth through eighth grade.
