Lakeside raffle

Friday is the deadline to purchase tickets for the Lakeside Panther Athletic Association fund-raising raffle. The grand-prize winner will receive $10,000, and only 300 tickets will be sold for $100 each. Each purchaser will receive dinner for two at Lakeside High School when the drawing is held at 7 p.m. April 30. For information, call Gil Eustice at 855-5251.

Special olympics

Fort Gordon will sponsor the Georgia area nine Special Olympics at 10 a.m. today at the lower end of Barton Field. In the event of rain, the games will be held Thursday. For information, call 791-6099.

Heggie's Rock tour

Judy Gordon, a botanist at Augusta State University, will lead a guided tour of Heggie's Rock on Friday. For information, call 650-8314.

Yard, bake sales

Woodlawn Baptist Church, located at 4943 Columbia Road, will hold a yard and bake sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Grovetown festival

Applications are being accepted for vendor spaces for the Grovetown Heritage Festival on April 30. For information, call 863-1867.

Programs offered

Oxford Learning Center, located at 4536 Washington Road, Suite 4, in Evans, offers programs for 3-, 4- and 5-year-olds. For information, call 650-2225.
