Mr. and Mrs. Richard L. Shockley, of Evans, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on New Year's Eve, Dec. 31. The couple have two children: a son, Stephen Shockley, of Martinez, and a daughter, Teryl Klova, of Sicklerville, N.Y.; and three grandchildren.

Retired U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Bill Ross and his wife, Angie, who married in Oakland, Calif., celebrated their 70th anniversary March 23. They reside at Elmcroft of Martinez. They have lived in California, Japan, Texas, the Philippines and Germany. Their daughter Sandie is married to Jim Ball. The couple have two grandsons: Guy, married to Tina (Causey), and Cam, married to Christy (DeHaven); and five great-grandchildren: Ross, Kyle, Scott, Nicole and Troy.
