The Kroger on Washington Road in Evans recently received Columbia County Clean and Beautiful's quarterly Point of Pride award in recognition of the landscaping and beautification of its property.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held recently at webER Computer Consulting Services on Hudson Trace Drive in Augusta. On hand for the ceremony were: Trent Whisenhunt (front row, from left), Arlene Reeves, Eric Weber, Nancy Weber, Mike Waters and Gordon Renshaw; Stephen Capps (second row, from left), Kate Perkins, Anthony Hodges, Raymond Morris and Phil Kent.
