Kindergarten: - Advice from veterans

The Columbia County News-Times asked soon-to-graduate kindergartners at Martinez and Riverside Elementary schools what supplies a new kindergartner would need to bring on the first day of school next year. Here are their answers:

 

Lauren Quesada, 6, Martinez Elementary: "Crayons, pencils and glue sticks."

Josiah Bonner, 5, Martinez Elementary: "You need markers, crayons, scissors and color pencils."

Justin Strickland, 5, Riverside Elementary: "I would tell them to bring a pencil, pen, scissors, markers, folders, clipboards, a journal, some crayons, glue and name sticks."
