Evans, Augusta Christian and Harlem went a combined 7-1 throughout the tournament schedule.

Evans and Harlem played host to Diamond Days, while ACS hosted the Ga-Lina Tournament.

Evans, the top-ranked team in the GaSports.com Class AAAA Coaches Poll, was the only team to suffer a loss. The Knights fell to North Augusta, 8-5, in the nightcap of the Evans Diamond Day.

"We want to win all of our games," said Knights' coach Ricky Beale earlier in the week. "But Diamond Day is a special day for the fans and the parents and the program."

Evans beat Elbert County, 4-1, earlier Saturday.

Harlem swept Jefferson County and Oglethorpe County at the Bulldogs' Diamond Day on Saturday.

Harlem (3-4) beat Jefferson County, 6-2, in the early game. Mike Morris pitched the Bulldogs to a 9-4 win over Oglethorpe.

ACS (5-0) beat Robert E. Lee and Greenwood Christian on Saturday to cap off a 4-0 record in the tournament, outscoring opponents 54-7.

The Lions jumped out with three runs in the first inning and held on to beat R.E. Lee, 6-2.

Wayne House was the star in a 19-0 win over Greenwood. House got the win and was 3-for-3 at the plate with a home run and four RBI.

"This is fun for the kids," ACS coach Craig Johnson said. "It also gives us a chance to see the South Carolina teams we will play this year."

ACS moved into the South Carolina Independent Schools Association beginning in the 2004-05 school year.
