County's young athletes shine

Lakeside Middle School coach Tom Weidenaar led the boys basketball team to the county's best record at 11-1. Robert Thoman, of Columbia County, plays lacrosse during a free clinic in Evans. The Family YMCA in Evans held free lacrosse clinics on the Doctors Hospital Fields during February.
