Baseball camp

The RedStixx baseball team will hold a baseball clinic for children ages 5 to 8 on March 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The clinic costs $25 and will last two hours each day. Call Donnie Hutchins at 863-4978 or 868-8046 for more information.

Soccer expansion

The Columbia County Patriots Soccer Club is adding 10-, 11-, 12-, 13- and 14-year-old groups for the spring season that runs until May. Call 312-7488 for more information.

Golf tournament

Fatz Caf is sponsoring the Second Annual Spring Golf Classic on May 4 at Jones Creek Golf Club, benefiting the Jenny Clark Memorial Scholarship Fund. A noon shotgun start is planned. The tournament is limited to 34 teams. The tournament team fee of $400 includes prizes for first-, second-, and third-place teams; prizes for on-course competitions; and various door prizes. Women's golf event

The Augusta chapter of the Executive Women's Golf Association will start its 2005 season March 22 with its annual membership kickoff event at West Lake Country Club.
