The deacons, deaconess and trustee boards of Gospel Water Branch Baptist Church will celebrate their anniversary at 2 p.m. today. The speaker will be the Rev. Victor Thomas, of Greater Mountain Canaan Baptist Church, in Augusta.

Revival services
Silver Run Baptist Church near Harlem will hold revival services 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. today and 7 p.m. March 14-16. Rev. Kenneth Garvin, the pastor of Sweetwater Baptist Church in Thomson, will be the guest speaker.
Tea Fur Two
A Tea Fur Two event will be held at Palazzo's Cafe, at Furys Ferry Station, at 4 p.m. today and March 20 to benefit the Columbia County Humane Society Building Fund. Festivities will include a silent auction, entertainment and more. Tickets cost $25. For information, call 860-5020.
Permit applications
Tuesday is the deadline for applications for the annual public access drawing to Fort Gordon for hunting and fishing permits. No more than three applicants per letter will be accepted. Applicants must at least be 16 years of age and possess a valid Georgia Hunter Safety Card. For information, call 791-2397.

Sierra Club meeting
The Sierra Club will meet 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Unitarian-Universalist Church, on Walton Way Extension. Larry and Carole Eldridge will present a program with live local raptors and discuss the handling of injured birds, bird habitats and their work with rehabilitation of these species.
