On behalf of the soldiers of the 15th Regimental Signal Brigade, we sincerely thank the CSRA community for making the 2004 holiday season a time that was truly special.
The outpouring of concern and caring for young soldiers who are far from home is truly heartwarming.
The United Methodist Church in Harlem kicked off the CSRA's hospitality by inviting more than 160 soldiers to their church for Thanksgiving dinner. The church made us feel like we have a second home there. This act of generosity is part of a tradition of caring that is the hallmark of the CSRA.
Since that wonderful event, we were blessed with volunteers who worked hard to help make sure that the soldiers departing for Operation Exodus and those who were here during the holiday season had a very merry time.
We thank every volunteer, company and individual who gave so generously of their resources -- time and talent as well as donations -- to make soldiers feel remembered during Thanksgiving and Christmas.
To every member of the community who helped in any way, we say thank you for choosing to care.
Col. Lori L. Sussman,
Commander
15th Signal Brigade
