Mr. and Mrs. Clarence E. Lowe Sr., of Grovetown, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception Nov. 21, 2004, at Wisteria Hill Plantation. The dinner was given by the couple's children, Bert Lowe, Karen Boyd and Sandra Gilliland. They have three children, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Smith, of Grovetown, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary March 4, 2005. The couple has two children: Jerry Smith, of Marietta, Ga., and Wayne Smith, of Grovetown; four grandchildren: Ryan (deceased) and Adam Smith, of Marietta, and Nikki and Lacie Smith, of Grovetown; and three great-grandchildren: Chelsea and Brook Smith, of Marietta, and Karynne Smith, of Grovetown.
