Senior tax help

AARP Tax-Aide offers free help for senior citizens in preparing their tax returns. Walk-in consultations are available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each Tuesday through April 12 at the Columbia County Senior Center, 5913 Euchee Creek Drive, Grovetown, and at the Gibbs Library, 325 N. Women sought

The Girl Scouts of the Central Savannah River Council are seeking outstanding women who made contributions in their field and to their community and who serve as a role model for girls and women.
