Known for: "A church that is committed to Christ," Perry said. "We try to have a committed ministry for those in all areas of the community, in particular, the last, the lost and the left out.''

Music: The church offers traditional and contemporary gospel. The church also has a choir and a praise team, accompanied by keyboard.

What would you say to someone who's thinking about giving your church a try?

"They will find it is a warm congregation that is accepting of the people where they are," he said. "

What do you believe is the biggest issue facing the faithful today?

"Apathy," he said. "People being comfortable with the way things are as opposed to striving to make life better and more pleasing to God. It's easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of society without recognizing that we are called to be the salt of the earth and institute change in the community and society."
