STARS named
Kaye Virginia Cook has been named the 1968 STAR student for the Columbia County school system, the Harlem Women's Club announced this week.
Kaye is the daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. J.E. Cook and is a senior at Harlem High School.
Kaye has selected Mary K. McDaniel of Harlem High as her STAR teacher because of the contribution McDaniel made to her scholastic development. "I am so thankful for the inspiration, help and encouragement Mrs. McDaniel has given me through my high school career."
Pamela Miller was named the STAR student for Evans High School. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Miller of Evans. Pamela chose Polly Hendrix of Evans High School as her STAR teacher.
