'Souper' Bowl

St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church will participate, along with other area churches, in the annual nationwide Souper Bowl of Caring during all Masses today at the church at 117 Pleasant Home Road. Army concert

The U.S. Army Signal Corps Band and the U.S. Continental Army Band will present a joint concert 7 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church on Walton Way in Augusta. Food check-out day

The Columbia County Farm Bureau will sponsor a food check-out day Monday to help celebrate the bounty from America's farms and ranches. Canned goods and money can be sent to the Columbia County Farm Bureau, P.O. Box 579, Harlem. Funds will go to the Georgia Ronald McDonald House. For information, call 556-6258.

MDO registration

St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church on Pleasant Home Road will hold registration for 2005-06 Mother's Day Out 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday in the Social Hall. A $50 nonreturnable fee is due at registration. MDO classes are 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday-Tuesday for children ages 12 months to 4 years. Call Nicole Durrwachter at 863-0252.
