Tennis lessons

Petersburg Racquet Club will offer a five-week series of tennis lessons for juniors ages 7 and 18. The lessons are for beginners, and clinics start Saturday from noon until 1:30 p.m. The cost is $65. For more information, call Jeff Ewing at 860-9288.

Spring registration

The Columbia County Recreation Department will hold baseball and softball registration Feb. 7-26. Registration is at the Patriots Park administrative office and is available Monday through Friday, Fed. 7-25 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Feb. 26, 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. For more information, call 863-7523.

Softball meeting

Football camp

A football camp will be held Feb. 5 from 9 a.m. to noon for children ages 6-12. Proceeds will go to Children's Heart Program at Medical College of Georgia. For more information, call Metz Davidson at 860-4742.

Target-shooting program

The University of Georgia is sponsoring a Clay Pigeon Target Sporting Program for pupils in grades 7-12. An informational meeting will be held Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Savannah Rapids Pavilion. For more information, call 868-3413.
