Horse benefit auction

The Georgia Farm Bureau Equine Advisory Committee is seeking donations of horse equipment and tack for the 11th annual Georgia Junior National 4-H Horse Benefit Auction Sale, sponsored by the Georgia Farm Bureau Federation and the University of Georgia Cooperative Extension Service. The sale will be held at 11 a.m. Feb. 26 at the Georgia National Fairgrounds Horse Arena in Perry. For information, call (800) 342-1192, ext. 5327.

Artists wanted

St. John Methodist Church, 736 Greene St. in Augusta, is inviting local and regional artists to submit original paintings, photos or sculptures for an exhibit as part of A Collage of the Arts, Passion Week. The deadline is Feb. 18.

The exhibit will open from 5:30-7 p.m. March 20 at the church. Works will be available for public viewing March 13-27.
