Vendors wanted

The city of Harlem will hold its fourth annual Trash to Treasure Market from 8 a.m. to noon March 5.

The market will be at the vacant lot beside Harlem United Methodist Church, on Highway 78 at the traffic signal. Spaces are free. For information, call 556-0401.

History walk

The Georgia-Carolina Council of Boy Scouts of America will hold A Walk Through History at 9 a.m. March 19 through historic sites in downtown Augusta. Funds raised will support Scouting. For information, call 733-5277.

Mining scholarship

Students interested in a career in the mining industry are encouraged to apply for a four-year scholarship offered by the Georgia Mining Foundation, providing payment for a four-year course of study at the undergraduate level or for graduate students pursuing a master's or Ph.D.
