Motorcycle raffle
Tickets are available through the end of January for chances to win a 2005 Harley-Davidson Sportster in a raffle sponsored by the American Red Cross. Only 1,000 tickets will be sold at $20 for one or $50 for three, and are available at the Red Cross office on Ellis Street in Augusta; at Augusta Harley-Davidson on Frontage Road; at Georgia Bank & Trust on Furys Ferry Road; or at Jim Hudson Lexus on Washington Road in Martinez. 'Souper' Bowl
St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church and other area churches will participate in the annual nationwide Souper Bowl of Caring during all Masses Feb. 6 at the church, 117 Pleasant Home Road.
