Story confused aluminum ore with type of coal spilled in derailment

As I read The Columbia County News-Times story about the 1997 train derailment ("Officials assess train risks," Jan. 12) it became too obvious to me that something was amiss.

I don't recollect such a thing as "bauxite" coal. Rather, I think, it would have been "bituminous" coal.

OK, so I'm picky. Anyway, keep up the good work.
