Sissy Hobbs (left), the president TWU Local Union 279 and James Jones (right), the vice president, presented the first John A. Gabriel scholarship to Greenbrier 2004 graduate Brandon Pearson, of Appling. Brandon is the son of Ralph and Judy Pearson and the grandson of Charles and Jean Diamond and Betty Pearson and the late Mickey Pearson. Brandon is attending Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, Georgia.
