Tsunami relief

Indian organizations of Augusta are sponsoring a fund-raising silent auction, cultural program and dinner from 6:30-9 p.m. Friday at the Belair Conference Center, 4081 S. Belair Road. Tickets cost $25, and corporate sponsorships and tables are available.

This event is sponsored by the Hindu Temple, Swaminarayan Temple, Indo-American Cultural Association, Guru Singh Sabha, Asian Indian Mission and Pakistan American Cultural Association. For information, call 650-0080 (daytime) or 855-2098 (evenings).

Preschool registration

The Church of the Most Holy Trinity in Augusta is accepting registration for the fall Mothers Day Out program, for children walking through age 4. Slots in the current program also are available. Call Cheryle Weinand at 228-4887.

Educators meeting

Kindergarten preview

Stevens Creek Elementary School will hold a preview session for parents of pupils who will be kindergartners in 2005-06.

The session, from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday , will include tours and information about kindergarten.
