Clay pigeons

The University of Georgia is sponsoring a Clay Pigeon Target Sporting Program for any pupil in grades 7-12. An informational meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 25 and Jan. 27 at Savannah Rapids Pavilion. Call 868-3413.

Baseball fund-raiser

The Evans High School baseball team will sponsor a fund-raiser golf tournament Jan. 23. The tournament will be at Gordon Lakes Golf Course at Fort Gordon. Registration is from 11 a.m. until noon, and a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided at 11 a.m. Cost is $50 a player or $200 a team. Kicking clinic

Evans High School kicker Reid Tankersley will hold a kicking clinic from a.m. to noon Saturday at Evans High School. The clinic is for ages 9-14. The cost is $20, and the proceeds will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House. For information, call 863-5792.
