On Thursday, the group will perform at 7:30 p.m. at the Augusta Jewish Community Center, which is at 898 Weinberger Way in Evans. Admission costs $25, which includes hors d'oeuvres. The price is $25 each for the 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday dinner performances and $15 for the 3 p.m. Sunday performance.

"It's an interactive murder mystery," said Fred Elser, the play's director, adding that this is the second interactive play for the thespian company, which is now in its seventh season.

"It's really a lot of fun, and it's a well-known form of theater amongst people that do theater; we find that it is popular and the audience does enjoy it. And that's what we're all about," he said, mentioning that audience members will have the opportunity to fill out a form and guess whodunit.

"It gives people a chance to be a part of what is going on."

Elser said whoever is closer to surmising who the murderer is will win a French Market Grille West gift certificate.

Elser said the play, which is similar to the 1985 movie Clue, is mysterious and comedic, and its ending will have audiences second-guessing.

"The play is centered around who killed the person who gets killed," he said. "It's kind of like these shows that you watch on TV or in the movies where the last person you think did it, did it; I won't give any more clues than that.''
