Tsunami prayers
A communitywide prayer service on behalf of victims of the east Asia earthquake and tsunami will be held today at 6 p.m. at Wesley United Methodist Church, 825 N. Belair Road in Evans.

Sierra Club meets
Augusta's Sierra Club meeting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday will feature a discussion from "Possumologist" Kathy Roe, who will bring live possums and discuss her work caring for injured wildlife.
The meeting will be at the Unitarian-Universalist Church, Walton Way Extension.
Lecture series
North Carolina artist Patrick Dougherty will present a lecture as part of Augusta State's Lyceum Series at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Morris Museum of Art, 1 10th St. in Augusta.
Seating is limited. Admission is free for museum members and high school, college and university students and faculty members with ID, but costs $3 for adults and $2 for seniors and military personnel.
