Ivey Mischel and Kevin Millward advanced to the regional finals of the NFL's Punt Pass and Kick Team Championship Competition.

Ivey Mischel and Kevin Millward advanced to the regional finals of the NFL's Punt Pass and Kick Team Championship Competition. Both won the local (Patriots Park) and sectional (Thomson) events. Mischel won the girls 12- and 13-year-olds event with a distance of 280 feet. Millward - the 2002 national Punt, Pass and Kick boys champion - won the boys 14- and 15-year-olds event with a distance of 413 feet. The top four scorers from all 32 first-place finalists in each age group for boys and girls advance to the national finals at an NFL playoff game during January.
