Networking event

The Columbia County Chamber of Commerce will hold its after-hours business networking event, "SuCCess Columbia County Style," 5-7 p.m. Monday at Doctors Hospital, 3651 Wheeler Road, Augusta. Admission is free for chamber members and $10 for non-chamber members. Call Terra Carroll at 651-0018.

Road closure

Due to construction work on Park West Drive in Martinez, the western portion of the road will be closed to through traffic to Old Wheeler Road beginning at 8 a.m. Monday and ending at 5 p.m. Wednesday. For information, call 855-7246.

Bible courses

The Augusta School of Biblical Studies will offer an adult Bible course beginning Monday night at 2050 Walton Way at Heard Avenue. The class will teach students how to study the Bible. For information, call 736-7711 or 284-3569.

MLK celebration

Brookwood Elementary School, located at 455 South Belair Road in Grovetown, will present its 16th annual production of "I Remember Martin Luther King Jr.," 2:15 p.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday The production will also be performed 9:40 a.m. Friday at North Columbia Elementary, 2874 Ray Owens Road in Appling.
