Re the Dec. 5 letter from retired Infantry 1st Sgt. Stephen McMillan, "Bush-trashing letter-writer would support terrorists before Republicans":
A few years ago I (supported) Newt "Bomb Thrower" Gingrich, a Republican. You remember Ol' Newt, don't you? He is one of those blue-blood Republicans and Bill Clinton clones who got to fooling around with one of those cute young things on Capitol Hill and asked his wife for a divorce when she was critically ill in the hospital. Had I known at the time that "Moral Majority Gingrich" had five deferments during the Vietnam War, I guarantee that Bill Clinton clone coward never would have gotten my vote.
In 2000 I was gung ho for John "Tell the Truth" McCain. I said, my God, five-plus years as a prisoner of war in Vietnam and all the suffering he endured. He is my man! He knows what war is all about! The Republican Party presidential campaign came to South Carolina, and the goons of George W. Bush hurled all kinds of maliciousness at this American patriot. McCain was furious, and I was hot enough to fight. Now, it seems what they were saying about lapdog McCain has come true. He has sucked up to our yellow coward president to the point that this former combat soldier is ashamed I spent even a nickel of my own money to support this power-hungry politician and two-faced freak! ...
Now, Colin Powell. I would have walked 20 miles barefoot to vote for this man to be president of the United States. He was right when he told the father of our yellow coward president that Dubya does not fill out his suit. Now look at him! Remember him holding that little vial up at the United Nations and saying how deadly it was and that Saddam Hussein had it? He started lying for Dick Cheney and Bush. He became nothing but an Uncle Tom for those two Vietnam War cowards.
... The American people ... in the past four presidential elections have taken two Vietnam War cowards and made them commander-in-chief. One, a coward and a pathological liar with an overabundance of testosterone, and the other one yellow through and through who stayed out of Vietnam because his father was a congressman.
McMillan, being retired infantry and based on his letter of Dec. 5, won't have any problem giving such a commander-in-chief his full support. As for me, I don't support as speaker of the House a womanizer with five deferments, cowards, a vice president with five deferments who said he had other priorities during the Vietnam War and has a sewer mouth, or pathological liars!
