Dance team wins trophy

Julie Smilak (from left), Jessica Moore, Whitney Fee, Amber Dunn, Odera Umeano, Lindsey Norton, Mary Catherine Haddon and Ashlea Anderton, of Lakeside High School's Basketball Dance Team, participated in the Martinez Merchants Association of Columbia County annual Christmas parade. The team was awarded a trophy Saturday afternoon for third place in the marching and dancing category.
