A wedding ring with the names "Roslyn" and "Collin" and the date March 9, 1963, has been found in the Patriots Park gym.

Candlelight service

Bible Cathedral, at 1116 Furys Ferry Road in Evans, will hold a Christmas Eve candlelight communion service at 6 p.m. Friday.

Christmas Eve service

Mosaic United Methodist Church will hold a Christmas Eve service at 5:30 p.m. Friday at the Evans High School auditorium.

Watch night service

Gospel Water Branch Baptist Church, at 703 Furys Ferry Road in Evans, will hold a Watch Night service at 10 p.m. Dec. 31.

Toy collection

The Morris Museum of Art is collecting new, unwrapped toys for children in conjunction with the U.S. Marine Corps' Toys for Tots program.
