Thomson nativity

First Baptist Church of Thomson will present its fifth annual "One Night in Bethlehem" drive-through nativity from 6:30-9 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday at the church on Warrenton Highway (Georgia Highway 17) at National Avenue. Admission is free. For information, call (706) 595-4252.

Children's gifts

The Medical College of Georgia Children's Medical center will accept new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday and Friday at the center at the Department of Family Services on the first floor. For information, write to klawhead@mail.mcg.edu or call 721-4392.

Legal help

The Georgia Legal Services Program Staff will meet with senior citizens wanting free legal help from 8:15-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Bessie Thomas Senior Center, 5913 Euchee Creek Drive in Grovetown. Help decorate our tree!

The Columbia County News-Times office has a Christmas tree in the lobby, but we need ornaments! We're looking for photos - wallet-size school pictures are fine - of Columbia County children to decorate our tree, and we'll publish the photos on a printed "tree" in the Dec. 22 issue. One child will be chosen to become the "star" of the tree.
