Staffers and students also help with Foundation for Children efforts

The Nov. 28 News-Times story, "Teachers help area children," was a wonderful article about the Columbia County Foundation for Children. It is great to bring this foundation and its holiday mission to the attention of so many individuals.

I only wish the story had not limited the headline to "Teachers help area children." Here at Lakeside Middle School it was teachers, auxiliary staff and students, such as the student members of Family Career and Community Leaders of America who met one Saturday at Wal-Mart to shop for the four children they were lucky to been matched up by the foundation.
