All-State recognition
Freshman linebacker Jay Harmon and senior defensive lineman William Lyon have been named to the South Carolina Independent Schools Association All-State team. Lyon will join senior linebacker Toby Brown in the 2nd Annual SCISA/GISA All-Star Game to be played in Macon on Dec. 4.
Recreation Awards
Columbia County Recreation Director Charlie Beale won the Distinguished Professional award for District I at the Georgia Recreation and Parks Association awards ceremony.
Athletic Supervisor Randy Haygood won the statewide Mike Daniels Award for character and work ethics.
Maintenance Supervisor Steve Jones won the Distinguished Professional Award in the facilities and grounds statewide category.
