Breakfast with Santa
St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church will hold its Breakfast with Santa from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday in the church social hall. The event includes breakfast, a photo with Santa and crafts. Toys for tots
The Morris Museum of Art is collecting new, unwrapped toys for children in conjunction with the U.S. Marine Corps' Toys for Tots program. For every toy donated to the museum, participants will receive free admission to the museum. For more information, call 724-7501.
Augusta opera
The Augusta Opera's Edward Bradberry Holiday Concert will be performed at 3:30 and 6 p.m. today at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 605 Reynolds St. in Augusta. The event will feature five international artists, the Augusta Opera Chorus and Orchestra and the Augusta Children's Chorale. Tickets are $25 for general admission. Holiday display
The Interfaith Hospitality Network will sponsor the No Room at the Inn display of more than 300 Nativity scenes today at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 3131 Walton Way. Holiday festival

'The Nutcracker'

Fort tree lighting
Fort Gordon will hold its annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony at 6 p.m. Thursday in Freedom Park on Rice Road. The ceremony includes a concert of holiday music by the U.S. Army Signal Corps Band, a visit from Santa Claus and refreshments after the ceremony. Admission is free. Harlem Christmas
The city of Harlem's second annual Christmas in the Heart of Downtown Harlem begins at 9 a.m. Saturday at BG's Deli with Breakfast with Santa. A craft show will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the city's Christmas parade begins at 2 p.m. For more information, call 556-0401.
