Bush-trashing letter-writer would support terrorists before Republicans

Editor:

This letter is in response to one printed in your paper Nov. 17.

Richard Renew writes letters very frequently and always prefaces his letters (ad infinitum) about how lucky he was to survive and how a good friend of his did not survive.

Additionally, Renew continues (ad nauseum) to trash our president and commander-in-chief as a "yellow coward" for not serving in Vietnam.

It is my opinion that Renew would support a Hussein/Arafat ticket before he would vote for any Republican.

Renew stated that Barry Paschal wrote that anyone who voted for Kerry was a misguided soul. Well, Mr. Renew, this retired infantry first sergeant can be counted as a misguided soul who voted for President Bush.

I could not vote for the Democratic nominee because of his outlandish actions denouncing the veterans of the Vietnam war and his association with "Hanoi Jane" Fonda.

Although I was a supporter of President Bush, if Sen. John Kerry would have won the election I would have supported him as president and as commander-in-chief.

Isn't America a great Nation?
