Book signing

The Sisters of Saint Helena's Convent in Augusta have recently published their first book, The Saint Helena Psalter, and will be honored at a reception at the Episcopal Church of Our Savior, 4227 Columbia Road, Martinez, at 3 p.m. today to discuss their book. Vendors sought

Craft and food vendors for Christmas in America, the lighting of Columbia County's official Christmas tree, are being sought. The event will be 4:30-7 p.m. on Dec. 4 at the Justice Center in Evans. For information, call Stacie Adkins at 868-3458.

Harlem parade

The city of Harlem's Annual Christmas Parade will be Dec. 11. Spaces also are available for vendors in the second annual Christmas in the Heart of Downtown Harlem, which will be 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. To participate, call 556-0401.

Christmas parade

The Grovetown Department of Public Safety is accepting applications for the 31st annual Grovetown Christmas Parade, which starts at noon Dec. 4. Applications are available at the Public Safety office, 306 East Robinson Ave., or by e-mail at grovetowndps@cji.net. For information, call 863-1212.
