The Southern Mpact Youth Squad opened the season on Oct. 10 at NCA's Carowinds Competition, where they placed 4th. They placed second at the USC Aiken cheerleading competition on Oct.30.

The Southern Mpact Junior Squad are the 2004 Cheersport National Champions They will defend their title in February. The squads are made up of cheerleaders from all over the Central Savannah River Area.
