This female shepherd mix is very friendly and playful. She is between 2 and 2 years old and is available for adoption from Columbia County Animal Control. The center will be closed Thursday in observance of Veterans Day. It will reopen at 8 a.m. Friday. For more information, call 541-4077 or log on to www.columbiacountyga.gov and follow the links to Animal Care and Control. Adult animals, such as today's Pet of the Week, cost $25 to adopt. The adoption fee for puppies and kittens is $20. All animals must be spayed or neutered.
