Vendors sought
Craft and food vendors are being sought for Christmas in America, the lighting of Columbia County's official Christmas tree. The event will be held from 4:30-7 p.m. Dec. 4 at the Justice Center in Evans. For information, call Stacie Adkins at 868-3458.
Christmas parade
The Grovetown Depart-ment of Public Safety is accepting applications for the 31st annual Grovetown Christmas Parade, which starts at noon Dec. 4. Applications are available at the Public Safety office, 306 East Robinson Ave., or by e-mail at grovetowndps@cji.net. For information, call 863-1212.
Wildwood plan

Fall festival
A fall festival and silent auction will be held from 7-9 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Augusta Christian Schools, 313 Baston Road in Martinez. There will be a silent auction dessert preview in the school gymnasium to view items such as cars, vacation home packages and more.

Eyeglasses sought
In recognition of National Sight Week, the Lakeside High School Beta Club is seeking donations of eyeglasses for Third World countries. Glasses can be dropped off at the school through Friday during business hours.
