Rec league registration is set in Columbia Co.

The Columbia County Recreation Department is holding 2005 basketball and winter soccer registration through Saturday. Registration is available only at the Patriots Park administrative office. For more information, call 863-7523.

Fastpitch tryouts will be at Patriots Park

The Georgia Rockers Fastpitch Organization will hold tryouts for their 2005 14-, 16- and 18-and-under travel teams at 2 p.m. Nov. 7 and Nov. 14 at Patriots Park. For more information, call Ike Branch at 860-3886 or Mike Leverett at 294-4736.

Racquetball tournament

Patriots Park will hold a racquetball tournament Nov. 12-14. Entry deadline is 6 p.m. Nov. 9. The cost is $10 for 19-and-older players and free for juniors. For more information, call 868-3458.

Swim league offers trial membership

Aiken-Augusta Swim League will hold a two-week trial membership until Friday for all age groups at all sites. The Fitness Group is being offered for ages 13-18. Punting Academy is set for December
